BQC value going down

Postby trdiablo » Sun Jul 28, 2013 8:28 am

The value of BQC seemed to have stabilized at 0.00004 but it is now going down to 0.00003
Less and less buyers, more and more sellers. It seems that people start to lose trust in BQC.

What can we do about it?

This is a temporary phenomenon. Now, miners have got rid of their old stocks. Lets buy coins now.

I think it's officially game over for BBQ. Dev's have talked a lot about releasing things, but the last year nothing was released. In fact, I don't think the current devs have ever changed anything about the original client.

On to the next coin! :)

It is too quiet lately, it would be nice if Chad or one of the other Devs would send regular updates with twitter or on the main site. I have been trying to keep the price of BQC above .0000200 by placing buy orders whenever it dropped below it (on BTER) but it it continues like this I see BQC dropping to 0.0000100 and then to 0.0000010.

I am willing to spend another 10 BTC on buy orders to increase the price of BQC but I can not do much by myself with only 10 BTC.

I have picked up about 5 Btc more worth of BCQ, i did try to get things moving up over a weekend. Bought about 10 bitcoin up into the mid .00004s, but that action did not atract any attention on cryptsy or bter, so I am holding some more exspensive coins. I have picked up a bunch in the mid .00002s tho so my averave is very good i think.

Hey guys, understand your frustration. There is an upside, BBQCoin Wallet will be released very soon. bigdaub has been working very hard to get this out there. He has been working with the guys who created the Litecoin and Feathercoin wallets and very close to launch, just a Nodes issue remaining, as I understand. If I hear anything i will let you know.

You should update the main website, update the thread on bitcointalk or show in some other way that the coin is still alive!

It really feels dead and abandoned at the moment, network hashrate very low, few miners left.

And value is testing < 0.0000200 , it is going towards value of DEVcoin.

Yes, the value has decreased dramaticly. If the admin could start up and official pool and post an update on fhe front page of the site, I might try making a wikipedia page for bbqcoin. (That post on the front page is starting to be a lie; in 3 more months, bbqcoin could be dead if we don't get moving!)
